After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the hotel for a full-day guided tour of Marrakech, known as the “red city” and a top destination in Morocco for nearly 1000 years. Marrakech is a vibrant blend of ancient charm found in its Medina and modern influences in areas like Guéliz. Highlights include the lively Jemaa el-Fna square, bustling with alfresco dining and entertainment, and the historic souks offering a glimpse into centuries-old traditions. In contrast, Guéliz boasts wide avenues and modern amenities, with the tranquil Jardins Marjorelle standing out as a peaceful oasis. Your tour will cover these following highlights:
- Jemaa el-Fna Square: Marrakech’s main open space, bustling with local life day and night, featuring entertainers and vendors offering a vibrant array of experiences.
- Saadian Tombs: Accessible via a narrow passage from a nearby mosque, this site showcases over a hundred mosaic-adorned tombs in an enclosed garden.
