Disney World plans luggage service for guests

Beginning May 5/2005, many Disney World Resort guests who fly into Orlando International Airport will be able to skip baggage claim, ride a shuttle to the resort, and find their bags waiting for them.

At the end of their stay, guests using the complimentary Disney's Magical Express service will be able to check their bags and get boarding passes before leaving their hotel.

"This benefit provides a hassle-free experience for our guests from the airport to our hotel room door and back again," Walt Disney World President Al Weiss said.

Disney will begin taking reservations, which must be made at least 10 days before arrival, on January 2.

The service will be available at 22 Disney hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort. It will not be available to guests of the Swan and Dolphin hotels, the Shades of Green and the seven hotels near Hotel Plaza Boulevard.
